WORSHIP SERVICE TIME
Our Sunday morning worship service is at 10:30am in our Worship Center.
Dress is casual. Slacks, dresses, jeans, or shorts are all welcome.
Our music is modern and draws from every genre.
Pastor Scott is an expository preacher, who typically works his way through an entire book of the Bible. One of our distinctives is that all Scripture points to Jesus, so we work through both the Old and New Testaments. To listen to a recent message, click here.
GUEST WELCOME TABLE
As you pull into our parking lot, you will immediately see our Guest Welcome Tables next to the Worship Center. A friendly face will welcome you, answer any questions you might have, and if you have children, help direct you to their age-appropriate classrooms.
The Way Fellowship Church is blessed with a lot of children. Forty percent of our church is comprised of children under sixth grade. Therefore, we greatly prioritize our children’s ministry and work hard to ensure each child is being cared for and discipled.
During our worship service, we provide a nursery for babies through 2-year-olds (in diapers). Our nursery is located in the main Worship Center so you can feel more comfortable knowing your child is nearby for any potential emergency. If you feel more comfortable with your newborn being with you in the service, we completely understand and welcome you to keep him/her with you.
Our Pre-K classroom is located in our Education Building. This is for 2-year-olds to 4-year-olds.
Kindergartners through fourth graders are checked in before service in the Education Building. After meeting their teacher and being checked in, children will walk with their parents to the Sanctuary for corporate worship. After several songs and right before the message, children will be dismissed by our worship leader and walk with their teacher to the Education Building for age appropriate learning. We also have Bible study for our elementary students every Wednesday night @ 6pm.
Fifth graders on up worship with their family during the morning worship service. We also have Bible study for our middle school students every Wednesday night @ 6pm.
We utilize the Gospel Project curriculum in all our classes. The Gospel Project works its way through both the Old and New Testament, focusing on unpacking the Gospel in each and every lesson.
We are first and foremost Christian, but we have made our camp in the Southern Baptist Denomination, primarily because of 1) their commitment to the inerrancy of Scripture and 2) their commitment to foreign missions. As Southern Baptists, we pool our money together to send out more full-time foreign missionaries than any other denomination (currently around 4,000). You can see what we believe as Southern Baptists by clicking here.
Visiting us, you will quickly discover that we “feel” very much like a nondenominational church.
